Katja Orličnik is an academic designer dedicated to the design of useful ceramics. Her products are clean, minimalistic, and simple, but at the same time thoroughly aesthetic. With boutique series, Katja constantly explores new forms of functionality and aesthetics.

Tide is a natural phenomenon caused by the moon’s journey around the earth, causing water levels to fluctuate. Katja Orličnik's ceramic explores a glazed and unglazed surface, which is reminiscent of the tide, giving the landscape two completely different characters. The glaze in the name symbolizes the water’s ebb and flow, which is entirely in the artist's hands.
